Welcome to the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church website.  St. Paul’s is a historic downtown church located at the corner of Sixth and Market Streets.  Since 1868, God has worked through generations of faithful Christians to proclaim the gospel and make Christ known.

Please join us for worship each Sunday at 9:00 am and 11:00 am with Sunday School at 10:00 am.  Check out the rest of this website for other exciting ministries here at St. Paul’s.

We are here to serve the living Lord as his disciples, and our lives are marked by daily prayer, weekly worship, Bible reading, Christian service, spiritual friendships, and generous giving.  Through our baptism and God’s amazing grace, we are already in a relationship with each other.  Come meet the rest of your family this week.

Anyone who is to find Christ must first find the Church. For how can one know where Christ is, and where faith in Him is, unless s/he knows where His believers are? Now the church is not wood and stone, but the company of people who believe in Christ; s/he must keep in company with them, and see how they believe and teach and live.”

Martin Luther

What do we Believe?

Justified by Grace

Rooted in the Gospel, Lutheran Christians believe that people are justified by God’s grace, freely given and received through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of the world.

What do we Teach?

Jesus Christ Is Lord

We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.

 Word of God

We accept the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source and norm of its proclamation, faith and life.

How do we live?

Our MISSION as disciples of Jesus Christ at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church is to welcome all people; proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ; experience a personal relationship with Him: and joyfully share God’s love with others.
