St. Paul's
Evangelical Lutheran Church offers a variety of worship and music
experiences. 8:30 A.M. SERVICE: Our 8:30 a.m. service is a "blended" style of worship service. A blended style of worship uses a variety of options: organ, piano and guitar, a small choir and instrumental ensemble, contemporary hymns and traditional hymns, and a more contemporary liturgy. We celebrate communion at the 8:30 a.m. service on a weekly basis. 11:00 A.M. SERVICE: Our 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service is the traditional service at St. Paul's with the Church Choir, organ music, and hymns from the Lutheran Book of Worship, With One Voice, and other Lutheran hymnals. Communion is celebrated once per month during our 11:00 a.m. service. (Recent SERMONS are available Online for listening) WEDNESDAYS TOGETHER: During the school year, we have a mid-week gathering called "Wednesdays Together." We have dinner and fellowship at 6:00 p.m., a prayer group and "Joyful Voices" rehearsal at 6:30 p.m., and a contemporary worship service, which includes communion, at 7:00 p.m. This contemporary service features guitars, piano, recorder, and conga drums. SUNDAY SCHOOL: St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church's Sunday School meets at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday. Children learn songs during the first twenty minutes of Sunday School. Then the children experience our new Firelight rotational Sunday School. CHURCH CHOIR: The Church Choir, led by E. Ray
McNeely, Choirmaster, meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:45 p.m. This choir is
composed of adults who love to sing and participate in the 11:00 a.m.
worship services. |
