Worship at Saint Paul's

Worship Services

9:00am Celebration Service

Our Celebration Service is a “blended” style of worship. A variety of instruments are used including piano, guitar, and conga drums. Our Celebration Choir helps lead the congregation in singing a variety of hymns and praise songs. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly either at the altar (the first Sunday of each month) or through intinction.

11:00am Traditional Worship

Our Traditional Worship service follows the liturgy from Evangelical Lutheran Worship. Our Church Choir leads the congregation in music from a variety of hymnals including the ELW, Lutheran Book of Worship, With One Voice and others. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly either at the altar (the first Sunday of each month) or through intinction.

Wednesdays Together

During the school year (September – June), a mid-week Prayer & Praise Service is held in our fellowship hall. We begin with a delicious meal at 6:00 p.m. and share our faith stories with each other as we eat. At 7:00pm, a contemporary worship service is held and features praise music accompanied by piano, guitar and conga drums. Holy Communion is celebrated through intinction at each Prayer & Praise Service.

Sunday Morning Education PROGRAMS

Programs are held for all ages beginning at 10:00 a.m. in Keever Hall.

During the summer, our Sunday morning education program is cross+generational with all ages coming together to explore ways in which to grow and pass on our faith.

During the school year (September-June), on the first Sunday of each month we gather in Keever Hall for wonderful fellowship and delicious food at the First Sunday Breakfast.

Our fall program will begin on September 7 with Rally Day. There will be a program during the First Sunday Breakfast and a picnic in the afternoon at Hugh McRae Park. Sunday morning education class will be available for preschool-5th grades, middle school, high school, and an adult forum.

Children's Church

On the first Sunday of each month, a special worship service just for children pre-K through 5th grade is held during both the Celebration and Traditional Worship Services. After the Children’s Sermon at the beginning of each service, the children are invited to follow Mrs. Emily and Mrs. Cindy to the Sunday school rooms in Keever Hall for a worship service created just for them. Following the completion of the service, parents can pick up their children in the fellowship hall.
